Goal Setting-Proverbs 31  ←TO PRINT CLICK HERE!
This “Goal Setting” sheet i prepared just for you!  If you find it useful, please pass it on.

Something to think about….

Only 3% of people have any kind of goals at all.

This 3% write their goals down.

Now 10% of people keep their goals in their head and don’t communicate them to anyone.”

87% of people go throughout life with

NO DEFINITE

goals or plans.

The 3% of people

WHO HAVE GOALS and WRITE THEM DOWN,

accomplish 50% to 100% more

than the people that don’t write them down.

~heard this on Woodrow Kroll, Back to the Bible,

….(this is a Harvard Study)

Today I want to encourage you to take the next step in:

Becoming a Woman After God’s Own Heart.

I encourage you dear Sister, to be the woman God desires you to be.

You and I….like the Proverbs 31 woman have VERY busy lives.

We care for …

  • Our Husband
  • Our Children
  • Our Parents
  • Our Extended Family
  • Our Homes
  • Our Job

Sometime our lives are filled with tasks that have us feeling overwhelmed, stressed, and running out of time.  I want to highlight just one of the things I have learned from the Proverbs 31 woman.  Not only was she prepared (which I spoke about in my last blog) for the tasks that the Lord had for her…she was focused.  She knew what needed to be done, and SHE DID IT.

Her focusto be a “God Pleaser” not a “Man Pleaser.”

She focused on doing the following for:

  • Her Husband~ She brings him good, not harm ALL the days of his life. Prov. 31:12
  • Her Children~ She provides food for her family.31:15b She speaks with wisdom, and faith instruction is on her tongue. 31:26 Her children arise and call her blessed. 31:28a
  • Her Home~She watches over the affairs of HER household and does not eat the bread of idleness. 31:27
  • Her Job~She works with eager hands. 31:13b; She buys and plants a vineyard. 31:16b; She works vigorously, she’s strong for her task. 31:17; She grasps the spindle with her fingers. 31:19b; She makes covering for her bed. 31:22a; She makes linen garments and sells them. 31:34a;

She is clothed with strength and dignity;

she can laugh at the days to come. Proverbs 31:25

Do we “laugh at the days to come?”

Are we clothed with strength and dignity?

Remember….She has no fear…She is prepared…..She is focused…..

 When completeing your “goals list” for the week..strive to accomplish goals that have “Real Eternal Value.” Read through and meditate on Proverbs 31:10-31.
